i never left i never leave

camera

today i decided it's about time for me

to buy my own camera.

so far i've been relying on cees and my dad

but that also means i can't shoot whenever i want to

so now i'm up to the job; picking one out of 1000 kinds of cameras.

so my question to you;

do you have a camera you'd really reccomend for easy shooting?

the main problem for me is that a 'good camera' (i know people who shoot amazing shots, with a really cheap camera. in the end it kind of depends on your skills.

and i don't have that many) easily get's really heavy.

so if you've got a lovely reccomendation, please feel free to tell me (:

closet update!

yesterday my mama came over, 

and we went to this beautifull place you can see on the picture

living in the center of the city is lovely, but i yearn for nature and green

we were incredibly lucky to catch a sunny day

i promised to announce when i updated my closet

 this dress from romwe is probably the brightest dress i have

combining it with my comfy shoes from le bunny bleu,

i had a summerish look!

not really matching the weather though.

it's been raaaining and raining.

and i heard moscow has a 25 degrees.

it's been raining all day, i've met up with a stranger, i haven't slept much

today jolein and i got together in the park

there was some kind of festival, but the music wasn't dance-able at all

so we just sat in the sun, watched people and wondered who they were.

jolein is the one friend i've never lost. we have known eachother almost our whole life

we don't have much similarities, and sometimes see eachother only once a month

but she's my best friend, and i'm lucky enough to say she thinks about me the same way.

we taped a lot of silly videos and pictures with my ipad

oh golly gee, i'm really getting the hang of instagram!

i'm not really a gadget-kind-of-girl, so i had no idea how fun an ipad can be!

i made a lot of funny short videos too, which i'll show you

 once i figure out how i get them here.. hahah

it's actually quite a bit different from what i usually wear, but i love it

the leggings and shirt (corduroy shirt! i'm loving it) are from choies

the purple blouse and shoes are thrifted.

recently i've had a lot of pretty founds on jumble sales, thrift- and second hand shops

it's the best way of shopping. just wandering around, feeling fabrics

and sometimes i just see a pattern, a pretty fabric sticking out of a pile of clothes

and then i almost know for sure;  i've found a treasure.

my birthday was lovely.

after we ate a pie on the roof, burried in sunlight, we went into the city

to buy my birthday present; a guitar.

a real, pretty, lovely sound-having, pling-plong guitar!

i'm going to take some lessons, because i find guitar harder to play than the piano.

then we drove back to my parents house and jolein came by for dinner

in the evening cees and i were just sooo tired from our trip to amsterdam

so we went to bed early to cuddle.

oh, i've got instagram now!

i know it's just filters you put over a photo, but now that i have an ipad

i can finally take (quite good) pictures easily of daily things

like i did in the pictures above!

it's my birthdaaay, i turned 21. 

my mama, papa and sister yonna came over with a pie

amsterdam

i just got back from amsterdam

cees took me there to a hotel as an early-birthday-present!

amsterdam was lovely, and so was cees.

 we danced at a party with nearly 10 people

the music was just worth staying hahah. it was a strange night.

 tomorrow i'll turn 21. 

sounds so old.

closet update

 i've made my closet summer-ready; 

all the dresses, soft fabrics, fragile pieces in front

and the warm sweaters in the back.

and then i decided i didn't wear the 4 pieces in the second shot often enough

so you'll find them soon for sale in my closet!

 i always get a looot of emails about the same items

so if you don't get an answer, please don't take it personal

it's been such lovely and busy days lately

i saved my energy the past week, so i could party at the very last queens'night, yesterday

(something we celebrate here in the netherlands, and today she stepped aside

and now we've got a king, so queens' night and day would be a little odd haha)

but i've had so much fun on a drum and bass party

it took me long before i dared to dance in public

but this was the first time i didn't mention myself that much, and just let go

and it was great. i love dancing with cees.

now i'm on the couch, with pillows, melle, tea and my laptop

telling you how my days were.
